Los Gatos Little League – 2026 VOLUNTEER TRAINING COMPLIANCE Requirements
Los Gatos Little League (LGLL) is an all-volunteer organization, and safety is our top priority. The following requirements must be completed before any volunteer begins practices, games, or team activities. Many of these are annual requirements and must be completed each season starting Feb 1.

1. Volunteer Application (Background Check) – Required Annually
All volunteers must submit a Volunteer Application through SportsConnect.
2. LiveScan Fingerprinting (required once, valid as long as continuous service is maintained))
LiveScan is required for:
Managers, Coaches, Team Coordinators, Umpires, and Board Members
If you previously completed LiveScan for Los Gatos Little League, you do not need to repeat it, as long as continuous service has been maintained.
New volunteers may complete LiveScan at Baggerly Field on Opening Day, March 14, 2026.
LGLL covers all LiveScan costs for volunteers on opening day. LiveScan costs from fingerprinting done at other locations will be covered by the volunteer.

3. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) Prevention Training – Required Annually
Required for:
Managers, Coaches, Team Parents, Umpires, Board Members

4. SafeSport / Abuse Awareness Training – Required Annually
Required for:
Managers, Coaches, Team Parents, Umpires, Board Members

5. Concussion Protocol Training – Required Annually
Required for:
Managers, Coaches, Team Parents, Umpires, Board Members

Certificates must be dated November 1 2025 or later.
Upload your certificate to the Google Form Provided by the LGLL Board .

Register and complete the “Concussion in Sports” course
Watch video modules, complete quiz and evaluation
Download certificate and upload to Google Form.
6. Diamond Leader Training Program
(Strongly recommended; required for tournament coaches)
The Diamond Leader Training Program helps coaches understand the mental, emotional, and social well-being of young athletes.

Beginning with the 2023 season, completion is required for all coaches and managers participating in Little League International Tournaments.
7. Compliance Tracking
All Managers, Assistant Coaches and Team Coordinators must submit their completed paperwork before starting any team practices. Forms should be uploaded to the following GOOGLE FORM. https://forms.gle/wi981Z1x2APF8Nmr6
A compliance monitor will be assigned per division:
President – Board of Directors
Umpire Director – Umpires
Juniors/Intermediate Commissioner – Juniors Division
Majors Commissioner– Majors Division
AAA Commissioner – AAA Divisions
AA Commissioner - AA Divison
Single A Commissioner - A Division
