Adult Umpires

Adult Umpires

It is a little-known fact that virtually all adult umpires used for Little League baseball in Los Gatos (and everywhere around the world) are volunteers.  Los Gatos Little League and District 12 staff umpires will provide each adult umpire with thorough training and direction in advance of your first game.

Umpires are great role models for the children and a great way to volunteer locally in the community, so please sign up today to partner with our youth umpires!

We always need eager adult umpires, especially for our Juniors and Majors games, where game management is of the utmost importance due to the higher level of competition.  Our adult umpires love the thrill of having “the best seat in the house” to watch some great baseball, and they enjoy the challenge of making the right call…quickly, confidently and decisively.

If you are interested in becoming an adult umpire and either have experience or have not done so in the past, please complete an Adult Umpire Application.  You must also complete a Little League International approved Volunteer Application and pass a background check.

All umpires must attend mandatory training prior to their first game.
