All volunteers are required to complete a background check every year before their first volunteer shift. Background checks are mandatory for all volunteer positions. This includes:
- Managers
- Assistant Coaches
- Board Members
- Umpires
- Equipment Managers
- Field Maintenance
- Scorekeepers
- Announcers
- Practice Volunteers
- Concession Workers
- Team Coordinators
- Miscellaneous Positions
Los Gatos Little League (LGLL) collaborates with JDP, a Risk Mitigation Management company, to conduct online background checks for all volunteers. Please note that any adult who has contact with players- on or off the field- is considered a volunteer.
