2025 Fall Ball FAQ
Fall Ball Key Dates and Details
Registration Opens: Friday, August 1
Registration Closes: Saturday, August 16
Divisions (pending registrations and coaching): A,AA, AAA, Majors and Intermediate/Jrs
Practices Begin: Week of September 2
Each team will have one practice per week. Practice days will be determined after team formation.
Games Begin: Sunday, September 14
Games and scrimmages will be generally be held on Sundays throughout the season to minimize conflicts with Saturday sports like soccer and football. The early part of the season will include more practice time to focus on player development before game play begins.
Season Runs: September 2 – November 3, 2025
Division Placement:
Fall Ball is a great time to try the next level based on your player’s Little League age for Spring 2026. For example:
Team Formation: Unlike the Spring draft, Fall Ball teams are built based on coach and buddy requests. We’ll do our best to honor those requests while creating balanced teams using player evaluations and manager input from last season.
Can my player participate in both Fall Ball and Travel Ball?
Yes! Many families choose to do both—especially since Fall Ball emphasizes skill development with fewer games, making it a good complement to Travel Ball. This extra practice time helps players sharpen technique and deepen team connections.
However, parents should stay alert to potential overuse. Using careful pitch-count limits and monitoring fatigue are important best practices.
If your player is involved in both Fall Ball and Travel Ball, please discuss your schedule in advance with both team coaches to avoid conflicts and support a healthy balance on and off the field.
