Lev Schissler, age 10, attends Blossom Hill School and most recently played with LGLL in the AAA Division this Spring on the Blue Jays. Lev was unfortunately diagnosed with a rare inoperable brain tumor this summer. In support of Lev and the Schissler family, LGLL will donate all proceeds raised from the Wiffle Ball Classic to the Schissler family.

Our 2024 Wiffle Ball Classic sponsored by Rally Cap Sports will take place on November 23rd at 9am at Los Gatos High School. Our current plan is to have four age groups but final divisions will depend on registration numbers and are subject to change.

Please consider stepping up to volunteer with set up, umpire training, snack shack, clean-up etc. Volunteer hours will count towards your Spring 2025 Season volunteer hours.

• How do I select teammates?
  • This year we are using SportsConnect's registration  and there are two ways to register 1) Free Agent or 2) As  a team.

  •  To register as a team, one team parent will need to sign up first and select "Head Coach" under volunteers. Login to LGLL and head to “your account” section. Clixk on “Volunteer”.  Find Wiffle Ball 2024 and sign up as a Head Coach.   They will be able to select a team name and will receive a sign up code that can be forwarded via email to other players. From there, each teammate can use that code when registering.  Again, only one parent per team should get a team code. 

  • "Free Agents" can register without a team code and will be placed on a team prior to the event. 
    
  • Team sizes will be between 4 and 6 players. If your team is less than 6, we may place some free agents or another team on your roster.
  • Four age brackets 8u, 10u, 12u and 14u (subject to change depending on registration numbers). Age ranges are based on player's age as of 11/23/24. Younger players may play up but players cannot exceed the max birthday for each bracket.
• How many games will we play?
  • Your team will play at 2-3 games based on a round robin format. Final schedules will be made a few days prior to the event based on registration numbers? We plan to be fully wrapped up by 2pm but likely earlier depending on amount of games. 
• Can I bring my own bat?
  • No. All bats will be distributed at the event to ensure they are all the same. 
• Will there be restrooms?
  • There are portable restrooms on site.
• Can I drop my kids off?
  • We're asking that each team have at least one responsible adult at the field at all times.
