The Giant’s beat the A’s 10-0 on Thursday to advance to the championship game against the Padres on June 1st at 5:00pm.
Ryan Carlisle and Kade Duebelbeis of the Giants combined to throw a one hitter while only walking two batters the entire game. They had a great defense behind them with plays made in center field by George Garner and Colton Kalin and on the infield with Brixton Mentz Bonnifield leading the way in put outs.
At the plate, the Giants collected 11 hits with three extra base hits. Blake Mordaunt went 2 for 3 at the plate with a double and a triple and Aarav Chugh and Kade Duebelbeis collected a couple base hits. Wyatt Robinson hit the ball hard on two occasions collecting a hit and was thrown out on one line drive to center field by Colin Murphy of the A’s.
