Welcome to Los Gatos Little League!


Managers and Parents,

As we continue toward the end of season and tournaments we wanted to provide you information regarding the All Star process and timeline for All Star player and managers/coaches selection. Please let us know if you have any questions regarding the below information.    

All Star Process:

Availability Form: The attached availability form will serve as the players nomination for his/her age appropriate All Star team.  The deadline for returning the availability form is Friday May 4th. If the managers do not have a form for a player they will not be eligible for All Stars.  Please distribute these forms to your team parents ASAP, let them know about the deadline for submission and return this information to you. The Board will collect this information from you.  I will give managers further information on specifics for delivery

All Star Voting: There are 5 levels of play for LGLL All Star eligibility, Juniors (13 & 14 year olds) Majors (12 yr. olds), 11 yr. olds, 10 yr. olds and 9 yr. olds. Once all the forms have been received the Board will develop ballots by age group and begin the voting process.  The process is as follows; the ballots will be provided to the players in Juniors, Majors and AAA for voting by their peers.  For instance, 9s will vote for 9s to represent LG All Stars, 10's for 10's and so forth.  The kids will be asked to vote for up to 6 players in their age group, however it is not mandatory to vote for 6.  They are encouraged to only vote for those players they feel deserve to represent LGLL All Stars. 

Over the last couple of years a board member has provided the ballots to each team for voting.  We will continue with this process to expedite voting and allow the managers/coaches to focus on their games.  The ballots will then be returned to the committee for tallying and presented at the All Star selection meeting where the managers will complete the voting process


  • Availability Forms received and reviewed by the Board committee on Friday May 4th.
  • Ballots issued to players starting Saturday May 5th to the juniors, majors and AAA teams.
  • Player Votes tallied and recorded.
  • All Star selection meeting for team MANAGERS ONLY TBD, times and venue to follow.
  • 9's, 10's, 11s, Majors, and juniors to sequentially.  We have a few of 10s playing majors so you may be asked to attend both sessions to represent the 10s on your team.
  • All star selections will be announced on June 1st per little league rules
  • This timeline will be modified as needed.

All Star Managers/Coaches selection process:

We have several coaches from each age group expressing interest with managing and coaching an All Star team.  The All Star selection committee will review the managers and coaches under consideration and present a slate to the board for approval at our next meeting, May 15th. If you are interested in managing or coaching an All Star team please submit your name in writing (via email to Nick Burg prior to May 13th.  Only rostered managers/coaches from majors and AAA will be considered.
